Tuesday Tickle: Have Yourself a Merry Little Sexmas

My Christmas stripper story. 🙂

The joy of hearing about your jerk of an ex. Even when they weren’t ever really your ex.

In the background he heard Teela say, “Is that Thilo? Let me talk to him! I gotta tell him who Sam is dating now!”

Ugh. He didn’t really want to talk about Sam. Sam, who he’d had a crush on for ages, and who had used him only so he could pass Advanced Financial Accounting. Thilo’d fallen for those big blue eyes and high cheekbones, and he’d though Sam had felt the same, but was shy about it, so he’d been patient. Only to find out at graduation that Sam had been sleeping with an English major from one of the sororities the whole time. And he’d gone to work at his father’s huge accounting firm, making forty thousand a year to start, while Thilo had been forced to move out of state to get a sniff at a job that wasn’t part-time or crappy pay.

Yep, he definitely didn’t want to hear anything about Sam the Scam.

So, when Teela took the phone, he pre-empted her with a rapid fire, “I don’t want to hear it.”

“Aw, com on, Thilo, you’ll love this.”

“No, I won’t.” Not unless Sam was dating someone hideous, who would give him genital warts and make him impotent. Thilo reigned in his revenge-obsessed imagination with a sigh. “What are you guys up to?”

She laughed. “Drinking. Our own private Christmas party, and our We All Miss Thilo party.” He could barely hear her over the other four whooping, and someone—he thought it was Vic—yelled, “Hey, Thilo-man! Wish you were heeeeerrrrrrre!”

What’s it about?
When work requires Ryan to leave behind warm and sunny Arizona for cold and snowy Germany, he decides to visit the famous Nuremberg Christmas Market where he meets sexy Julian.

But Julian isn’t an average guy, he’s a Dom. And he wants Ryan to be his sub.
That’s something Ryan has dreamt of, but never admitted to anyone, not even himself. With Julian it suddenly becomes possible.

But what happens once Ryan has to go home, especially since he’s developing feelings for Julian?

There isn’t a future for a relationship if you’re half a world apart…

A sneak Peek…

Julian rested his hand on the small of my back, guiding me gently through the night. It was well past midnight, and the streets were mostly empty. Neither of us had spoken about how this night would end. After the comment about me getting on my knees, I seriously doubted I’d be sleeping alone tonight. I wanted him, but how should I ask him to spend the night with me?

Taking my hand again, Julian pulled me to a stop. Was he going to ask about coming home with him, now? My heartbeat sped up, I wanted to say, yes, of course I want to.
“You’re staying at a hotel, right? Can I walk you there?”

So he wanted to come to my hotel. That was fine, too. As long as I got him inside me soon, I was okay with almost anything. I told him where I was staying, and we slowly walked there.

“Do you want to meet again? Tomorrow, maybe?”

Who is this Chris McHart, anyway?

Chris McHart is from Germany and while an accountant, writing is Chris’s real passion. Chris likes to spend time with family and has way too many animals that demand constant attention. Chris also enjoys landscaping and cooking.

Whenever Chris has a free minute, it’s spent writing on a laptop, a cup of coffee in hand, deeply lost in the world Chris’s muses have created.

When coming up for some air, you’ll find Chris on a lot of social networks. Check out Chris’s website to see where you can find out more. Chris looks forward to hearing from you!

My Christmas Present to Me

Xmas2013Here is me, getting into my Christmas stocking a bit early–don’t tell me I peeked. Lol. Fancy glass, a guy who won’t talk my ear off and is easily turned on (and off), my Charlie Brown Christmas tree, and my daughter’s Russian hamster, who is currently getting rodent-high on caramel rice cakes. Said daughter is off at a friend’s tonight, which leaves me free to clean up some of the mess around here after wrapping gifts. Or, to break into my stocking stuffers a bit early and relax with some interesting British documentaries. In what other job is it research to watch a documentary on Debbie Does Dallas? if only I could find some way to charge someone for that time…

Hard to believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve. One last trip to town to get feed for the ponies, drop presents off to my brother and pick up a few last groceries and a gift card for the guy who cleans out my driveway, and then I’ll be done. Christmas dinner is up at my mother-in-law’s and I’ve been relegated this year to bringing the punch–easy peasey, which is good, because my poor brain is done.

I hope you all have a happy holiday season, whatever holiday you celebrate. Come back tomorrow for the link to The Novel Approach, because I’m giving away one last Christmas present–a copy of Christmas Goes Analog.

Happy Book Birthday to Me!

Christmas Ornament Giveaway for Christmas Goes Analog

Shawn introduces Rob to a family Christmas tradition in Christmas Goes Analog, as part of giving Rob a perfect Christmas. To include Rob in the tradition, he gives Rob a Christmas ornament. In keeping with that idea, I decided to give a lucky commenter a Christmas ornament. I found a sweet little pair of what I like to pretend are lovebirds, crafted locally of pewter. The words “Our First Christmas” are engraved across the front.

All you have to do to enter is comment on this post and, at 10pm Atlantic Time (9pm Eastern) on December 10, a winner will be randomly chosen. I’ll drop it in the mail and hopefully you’ll have it by Christmas. (Hard to say, given the state of Canada Pony Express, aka. Canada Post)

So, comment away!

Sort of Christmas Goes Analog Cover Reveal

‘Cause Loose Id beat me to it…

Tada! Isn’t it lovely? Yes, the cabin is important, as is the idea of a Christmas tree. Valerie Tibbs was my artist for this cover. I love what she did with the branches in the front. And she got Shawn and Rob pretty well, given what a short turnaround it had. You can just see the sort of uncertain expression on Rob’s face, there in the back. Poor sweetheart. He really is such a lovely young man. I’m glad Shawn is who he is, because Rob’s tried so hard–he needs someone to look after him.

Did I mention it comes out December 3rd? And that I’m going to be giving away stuff? Like books and a Christmas ornament? Because I am.

After all, it’s Christmas. Sort of.

Tuesday Tickle: Christmas Goes Analog

So, it occurs to me it’s Tuesday, and I owe you a Tickle, since I copped out last week. This one is from the Christmas novella that currently has me in a mad panic, because it comes out on December 3. Eek!

Shawn took advantage of Rob’s temporary distraction to slide his hands under his boyfriend’s sweater, moving it smoothly out of the way so he could run his fingers up the groove of his spine. Rob jumped and let out a strangled whimper, but continued his explorations down Shawn’s neck.

“You warm enough?” Shawn whispered.

“Yeah.” Rob sat back and peeled of his sweater. “You. Shirt off, too.”

Shawn sat up in a half-curl and pulled his t-shirt over his head. “You want more off than this?”

Rob tilted his head to one side and was quiet for a moment. “No. Not yet. This is nice.” He stretched himself out again on top of Shawn, warm skin against warm skin. “Slow burn. We’ve got all night. Unless you’re worried about Santa catching us.”

Shawn squirmed underneath him, feeling himself grow even harder at the sensation of Rob’s chest against his and Rob’s nipples rubbing past his own. “I think he’d understand.”

“Good.” Rob bent once more to Shawn’s mouth, only this time his tongue slid out to skim delicately over the inner surface of Shawn’s lips. It was barely more than a hint of pressure, the tip flicking along the sensitive nerve endings, but it coaxed a needy groan from Shawn’s throat. He opened his mouth wider and moved one hand up to cup the back of Rob’s head, bringing him close enough for a real kiss.

Rob laughed and then moaned as Shawn took charge, his tongue stealing in to tease at Rob’s. Shawn slid his other hand over Rob’s ribcage, dragging his fingernails lightly over the hollows between the bones. Rob arched into the touch, his hips shoving downward to rub against Shawn’s hard-on.

Shawn broke the kiss. “This is going to be more like spontaneous combustion if you keep that up.”

“So long as it’s your clothes that go up in flames. Maybe we better get them out of the way, just in case.”

“What happened to slow burn?”

“It suffered from spontaneous combustion.”

This is probably the sweetest thing I’ve ever written, except for maybe Jamie and Henry, which we can talk about next week, if you like. 🙂 Feels strange to suddenly have so many stories out.

But, you know what? I’m really looking forward to some down time. By that, I mean time that isn’t tied up in revisions, or promo, or anything like that. New words, new characters to meet, new worlds to explore. I’m starting to think about the steampunk again…
